About Us - Board of Directors

Liam Antrim - Secretary Liam Antrim

In early adulthood, Liam Antrim was drawn to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska by the natural landscapes and employment opportunities in wildlife biology. Following 5 years of working and camping in remote locations, Liam grounded his life in Bellingham, earned an advanced academic degree, and began a career as a research scientist working as an aquatic toxicologist and research diver surveying and restoring nearshore marine resources.

He has worked now for 10 years at the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary on marine policy issues, marine debris, oil spill response preparedness, and research. In his private life, Liam is a committed gardener and outdoor recreationalist. He has lived near Sequim for over 20 years and is concerned about subdivision of the developed landscape and loss of open space that is essential for production of our food, as well as the aesthetic that draws people to the area.

Liam served on the Board of Friends of the Fields, and is now a member of the NOLT Board.
