Suzi Schuenemann - Board Member
As a child, the pleasure of locally grown and produced food began at the cheese factory and farm of Suzi’s Swiss grandparents. Her appreciation of food also led to helping her son and daughter-in-law open the Alder Wood Bistro (Sequim), the first and only local, organic, seasonal restaurant on the Olympic Peninsula. She understands and deeply values the
importance of preserving farmland to produce food, enhance the
quality of life, and protect rural environments. While living in California, she was involved with the Marin Agricultural Land Trust. She moved to Sequim in 2003. Suzi served on the Board of Friends of the Fields, and is now a member of the NOLT Board. |
