Long-time North Olympic Land Trust volunteer
Robbie Mantooth of Port Angeles has joined the organization’s
Board of Directors.
Mantooth and her husband, Jim, have hosted the land trust’s
annual StreamFest at their home, Ennis Arbor Farm, since its
inception in 2000. She has also been instrumental in chairing
the committee that organizes the event, held this year on Aug.
30, and other outreach activities.
Mantooth has also served since 2004 as a member of the board of
Olympic Park Institute, located in Olympic National Park on Lake
Crescent at Barnes Point at the historic Rosemary Inn. She is
also a recipient of the “woman of distinction” award from
Soroptimist International Port Angeles Jet Set. She was
recognized for service to help the environment. She helped for
several years with the state-funded local watershed resource
inventory project planning group, Watershed Inventory Resource
Area 18. Past civic activities include serving on the Port
Angeles Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors.
Mantooth is a retired Peninsula College professor, a former
public information director for the college and Port Angeles
